THREE GRAPHICS needed for FINAL Print Issue!
Your last chance to see your artwork in print this semester!
Hey, all!
Happy Ramadan and almost-Easter, I hope your end-of-semester is going well! This week, for our final print issue of the semester, we have three graphics to be assigned to you incredible artists. If you’d like to claim a graphic, reach out to me (Carleen) at graphics@theconcordian.com (or feel free to reach out about anything else, too!)
All the graphics below are due back Sunday, March 31st at noon.
Title: Subscriptions - How can they Better Support Musical Artists?
Description: Our Music Editor discusses the launch of a new streaming service that aims to better support musical artists and provide them stronger revenue. She will also interview students on whether they’d pay for a subscription service that would go directly to the artists they listen to.
Suggestion: A guitarist/several musicians playing, while swirling “revenue streams” of cash flow around and past them.
Title: The Necessity of Strong Employee Care
Description: This opinions piece will discuss the ways that companies can better provide care to their employees, and the lack of emotional intelligence in companies currently.
Suggestion: An office manager with a stack of pizzas, with a text bubble saying that instead of a better health plan, everyone’s getting a pizza party.
Title: 20 Lessons at Age 20
Description: Our Assistant opinions editor lists 20 lessons she’s learned in her 20 years of life, as a suggested reflection exercise to do before our birthdays.
Suggestion: A birthday cake with 20 candles, or versions of the same person walking forward and all holding hands (child, teenager, adult) to show someone aging.
That’s all for this week! If you’d like to draw for one of the articles above, be sure to shoot me an email at graphics@theconcordian.com. Otherwise, to be added to our list of graphics contributors, click here.
Thanks so much, have a great week, everyone!
