THREE Graphics needed for Digital Week!
Draw for the Concordian before the year ends!
Hey everyone!
I hope you enjoyed the long weekend, and your end-of term is going well! This week, for our second-last digital of the semester, we have three graphics to be assigned to you incredible artists. If you’d like to claim a graphic, reach out to me (Carleen) at graphics@theconcordian.com (or feel free to reach out about anything else, too!)
All the graphics below are due back Sunday, April 7th at noon.
Title: Tuition Hikes Put Cineforum Italiano at Risk
Description: Concordia’s Cineforum Italiano is a hub for Italian culture, run by Concordia’s department of Classics, Modern Languages, and Linguistics. Defunding and a decrease of international students put it at risk for next year.
Suggestion: A film reel (in Italy’s colours) being almost-snipped in two by giant scissors — or something else!
Title: The 2024 UEFA Euro’s
Description: Our Sports Editor interviews Concordia students about the upcoming Euro soccer championship, and provides info about the qualifying teams.
Suggestion: A play bicycle-kicking the ball into the net — or something else!
Title: Reflecting on Grief
Description: Our Opinions editor tells a personal story about grief, and recounts what she’s learned about how it changes and evolves with time.
Suggestion: Two women hugging, with a transition of dead, to blooming, to bloomed flowers behind/around them.
That’s all for this week! If you’d like to draw for one of the articles above, be sure to shoot me an email at graphics@theconcordian.com. Otherwise, to be added to our list of graphics contributors, click here.
Thanks so much, have a great week, everyone!
