Three graphics available to claim!
Have your beautiful artwork displayed alongside our articles!
Hey, all!
I hope you’re all enjoying the warm weather today after our snowy, chilly weekend! We’ve got three graphics needed to accompany online articles for this week, due back on Sunday, April 2nd. If you’re interested in drawing something for one of the articles listed below, shoot me an email at graphics@theconcordian.com to claim it!
Articles this week needing graphics are:
Title: Sports for Managing Stress
Description: An article on the importance physical activity during stressful times, like the end of the semester, featuring interviews with student athletes and an expert on sport psychology.
Suggestion: A student trying to do sit-ups/stretches on their yoga mat in an extremely cramped apartment bedroom (yoga mat rolling up the wall, big desk/wardrobe/bed filling up the small space, maybe a cat getting in the way)
Title: HIV/AIDS in Montreal
Description: An article focusing on the HIV pandemic in the Montreal area, with statistics and a list of resources of Montreal and Concordia organizations.
Suggestion: The symbol for HIV awareness is a red ribbon, so I’d suggest two/three people with this symbol wrapped around them like a scarf, looking comforted (I can send you a pic of what I mean)
Title: “Where are you from?” is a Shit Question
Description: An opinion piece on why this question holds a lot of weight for international students.
Suggestion: A portrait of an international student that is a visible minority being surrounded by text bubbles reading “Where are you from?”, "Where is that?”, “Sounds exotic”, etc.
Thanks for reading, and let me know if you’d like to grab a graphic this week by emailing me at graphics@theconcordian.com!
Take care, everyone!
