I hope your break has been as restful as possible, and that the week’s starting off great. We have three graphics to assign for this upcoming digital issue on some exciting topics! Title: Are Marvel movies boring?
Description: An opinion piece discussing whether Marvel movies are true cinema, after Martin Scorsese’s recent remarks against them.
Suggestion: One of the popular Marvel characters, retired and washed up.
Title: TikTok’s “Era” trend
Description: There has been a growing obsession online around "eras". People have been referring to all their phases as eras—villain eras, toxic era, etc. Is this phenomenon inspiring or helpful?
Suggestion: Two students sitting next to each other in class, and one of them is dressed in dramatic black robes and explaining to the other via text bubble “I’m entering my villain era”.
Title: Moderation in gaming
Description: Community moderators are essential to ensure gaming communities remain a safe space. How do they do it and what effect does it have on them?
Suggestion: Someone stressfully typing on their keyboard, with a text bubble of them saying “No… you can’t say that about their mother.”
