The Hive Café in the CJ building is open
A semester after the planned opening, the CJ Hive Cafe on Loyola campus is finally open, bringing joy and delicious meals to communications and journalism students! The café is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Concordia prepares to launch the new Kaié:ri Nikawerà:ke Indigenous Bridging Program
Concordia has announced a new bridging program for Indigenous students, which will allow them to take prerequisite courses for Engineering degrees. The program will expand each year with the goal of eventually encompassing every major.

Le Frigo Vert hosts a naloxone training
On Jan. 26, the Canadian Students for Sensible Drug Policy organized a naloxone training at Le Frigo Vert. Naloxone is used to counter the effects of opioid overdoses, which are still all too common in Canada.

ConUHacks is back
ConUHacks is Concordia’s annual hackathon. The number of participants this year was the highest since the beginning of the competition. The Communications Security Establishment of Canada and other corporations were in attendance to recruit potential employees.
