News section pitch:
Fee levies being accepted (can be written in French or English)
Word count: 500
Students have voted in favour of fee levies for the first time since Winter 2023. A couple of different angles possible for this:
- Why was this the case? Did the tuition hikes last year mobilize more people to vote against fee levies?
- Were students more interested by this election's fee levy candidatures?
- What will the money from the fee levies be used for? Go around the various fee levy groups to have their opinions, takes on their fee levies accepted, were they ever in doubt, etc...
Three interviews required: Interview with at least one organization that was approved for fee levy increases, and at least one member of the Fee Levy Review Committee, and at least one non-partisan student who voted for the fee levies in the by-election.
