Hello my fellow Concordians,
Welcome to the first week of February. We are a couple of weeks away from spring break which is very exciting.
I don't know about you guys but things are already piling up and I am already feeling it. I am trying to keep my mind on the more positive things that are coming up like Valentine's Day.
I don't want to get all mushy here but this week I was thinking about something I heard again over the radio. Vinny and Shannon on Virgin Radio were talking about the things people do/have done for love.
I go all in for love. Anything my significant other needs, I’ll do. A great example off the top of my head was when my boyfriend got his wisdom teeth out.
I made sure to be off work because I was going to drive him back from the hospital. After his surgery he was really heavily sedated, and I helped bring him back to the car in a wheelchair. When we got back home I made sure he was nice and comfy. Then I went out to buy all the Jello he ever wanted.
Now with the lovey-dovey stuff out of the door, here is an interesting event that is happening on campus next week.
OVERHEARD ON CAMPUS
Are you struggling with your mental health? There is a counsellor chat in the Zen Den at the John Molson Building on Feb. 7, 2023. The time for this event is from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.
At this event you can learn about all the mental health resources that are offered here on campus. For more information, please visit this link.
Alrighty that's all for me this week.
See you all next week,
Dalia
