Our latest articles:
The Concordia Stingers Dominate 42-16 Against The McGill Redbirds:
The Stingers’ football team didn’t have the beginning of the season they had hoped for, but they were able to take advantage of an early bye week before the Homecoming game against the McGill Redbirds.
Their powerful offence combined with solid defence was more than enough to earn them the first victory of the season.
The team felt relieved and happy to see their hard work pay off. They are now working towards getting another win this Saturday against Laval University.
A Whole New Ball Game For The Concordia Stingers:
This season, the Stingers’ baseball team is competing against other universities in Quebec and Ontario to possibly be able to compete next year in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) conference.
This is a very young team with a lot of potential: about 70 per cent of the players are rookies.
Head coach Howie Schwartz is confident in his team, and is happy with the pitching as well as the stronger defence and hitting this year.
Here are last week’s Stingers' scores:
Bold: regular-season games
Italics: non-league games (exhibition, preseason or non-conference)

Women’s rugby to play Kelly-Anne Drummond Cup at 2:30 p.m.
This annual game — which has taken place since 2005 — is a tribute to former Stingers’ rugby player Kelly-Anne Drummond, who was tragically killed by her boyfriend in October 2004. She played for Concordia from 1999 to 2001, and graduated with a Communications major in 2002.
